Special requirements for valve no. 5
Cylinders with valve no. 5 are equipped at the factory with integrated filling protection and require a special procedure.
If the valve on the large gas cylinder is opened too quickly, the cylinder valve closes automatically and prevents refilling.
Detailed instructions can be found under filling instructions as well as in the enclosed manual.
New valve no. 6 and QC adapter
Valve no. 6, used in newer Sodastream devices, requires our specially developed QC adapter.
Additional empty cylinders / improvements
If you use cylinders with valve no. 5, you can make refilling easier by ordering a CO₂ cylinder with a quality valve without filling protection as well.
