The CO2 Adapter Pro 2 Plus is ideal if you want to conveniently refill empty CO2 cylinders yourself at home. This eliminates regular exchanges in stores and noticeably reduces the effort involved.
CO2 Direkt Professional uses the same large CO2 supply, but connects the sparkling water maker directly to the gas bottle. This also eliminates the need to replace individual CO2 cylinders in everyday use.
Both solutions significantly reduce ongoing costs – CO2 Direkt Professional offers the highest level of convenience.
Is there a suitable solution for my sparkling water maker?

CO2 Direkt Professional is generally the best option because it offers a particularly large supply with very little effort. Even with a space-saving 2 kg bottle, CO2 Direkt Professional provides a much larger reserve and noticeably reduces ongoing costs – on the scale of around five classic CO2 cylinders.
Cylinder, connections and gas bottle
Yes, with the CO2 Adapter Pro 2 Plus, your CO2 cylinders can continue to be used and refilled by yourself as often as you like.
No additional accessories are required for either the CO2 Adapter Pro 2 Plus or CO2 Direkt Professional. All our products are precisely matched to the CO2 connections of the respective manufacturers as well as to the connections of large CO2 gas bottles.
Will taste and carbonation quality stay the same?
Yes. The CO2 in large bottles is no different from the CO2 in conventional exchange cylinders. CO2 itself is tasteless and odorless, remains unchanged in its properties for a very long time, and in that sense does not expire.
By using the original cylinders intended by the manufacturer, the bubble effect and the familiar sparkling taste remain unchanged with the CO2 Adapter Pro 2 Plus. Our CO2 Direkt Professional systems are also designed so that CO2 is fed in cleanly and reliably, which means it has no effect on taste or carbonation quality.
750 g to 2 kg bottles: Is there a refill solution for those as well?
Yes, 2 kg bottles are also an excellent solution in many cases – for example for draft systems and similar applications. They save space while still providing a much larger reserve than classic small cylinders.
For aquarium applications, we offer specially tailored solutions with our Max Fill product line. These are available with either one-sided or two-sided venting and support the necessary RPV valves in every version so that 2 kg bottles can be filled completely.
