These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers via our online shop https://www.co2-adapter.de.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that can be predominantly attributed neither to their commercial nor their independent professional activity (§ 13 BGB - German Civil Code).

The product presentations in the online shop do not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to order. By placing an order, you submit a binding offer. The acceptance of your offer takes place through an explicit confirmation or the shipment of the goods.

The text of the contract is not stored by us. The order data can be saved or printed immediately after submitting the order.

All prices are quoted as total prices in Euro, including statutory VAT, plus shipping costs.

The consumer has the option of payment via Mollie (credit card & bank transfer), PayPal, advance payment, or purchase on account (for public institutions by prior arrangement).

We use external payment service providers for payment processing. Necessary data such as name, address, and payment information are transmitted for this purpose. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise stated, shipping takes place within 5 working days. For advance payments, the delivery period begins on the day after the payment order is issued; for other payment methods, it begins on the day after the contract is concluded. If the end of the period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a public holiday, the period ends on the next working day.

The risk of accidental loss passes to the customer upon delivery.

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

The statutory warranty rights apply. Please report obvious defects in writing within two weeks of receipt. Before asserting any claims, the goods must be made available for inspection. Damage caused by improper handling, modifications, or incompatible accessories is excluded from the warranty.

Cancellation Policy

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us – Michael Bauckhage, Harrenscheid 13a, 58579 Schalksmühle, Germany, kontakt@co2-adapter.de – by means of a clear declaration (e.g., email, letter, fax) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

German law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For disputes with entrepreneurs or customers without a general place of jurisdiction in the EU, the place of jurisdiction is our place of business in Schalksmühle.
